Breaking Barre's challenging yet rejuvenating barre classes blend functional movement with elements of Pilates, yoga, and simple ballet to strengthen and tone the entire body. Our barre classes emphasize strength, flexibility, and balance through targeted movements designed to leave you feeling empowered and energized. Modifications and advancements offered throughout class allow you to make the workout your own. Whether you're a beginner or experienced fitness enthusiast, our barre classes provide a dynamic and effective way to enhance your overall well-being.(Sticky socks are recommended.)

Barre Strength

Barre Strength features some of our heavier weights! We'll incorporate many aspects of traditional strength-training, using heavier weights, combined with traditional barre props to keep the movement functional and focused. This class will still feature the combination work of barre exercises, giving a cardio push for the heart rate as well! (Sticky socks are recommended).

Express Bounce

Express Bounce

Express Bounce is a 40 to 45-minute, low-impact cardio blast on a mini trampoline that will torch calories and leave you feeling energized! Choreographed rebounding sequences are performed to fun music, with a mid-class and end of class cooldown/stretch. Rebounding burns more calories than running and is much safer for your joints, but it's way more fun! Some of the many benefits of rebounding include weight loss; boosted immune system; increased lymphatic flow; strengthened pelvic floor; reduced back pain, depression, and anxiety; and improved blood sugar levels, bone density, and core strength. Designed for all fitness levels... beginners welcome! Let us know if you'd like to reserve a handlebar. (You may wear sticky socks, bare feet or tennis shoes for this class.)

How do I sign up for a free class?

Schedule your free class by clicking "Free Class" near the upper right corner of our website and follow the prompts. Or feel free to email us at info@breaking-barre.com or text us at 407-588-4500 to request your free class.

How long does it take to see results?

Results can take time, but if you’re consistent, they will come. If you are a beginner, results will come fairly quickly. With consistent classes, you'll notice a difference in your strength and overall fitness in just 2 to 3 weeks.

Do I get the chance to meet new friends?

We're proud of the welcoming and supportive community we've cultivated and we love all the friendships we've helped build. We provide opportunities to interact throughout class, and we'd be happy to introduce you to other members before your class, if you're open to that.

What sets you apart from other gyms?

We are a community of people that share the same fitness journey as you. We are here to build each other up - if you win, we all win. Breaking Barre classes are fun and specifically designed to help participants learn to love fitness while still being challenging enough to yield results. Our postures and instructor coaching strengthens the mind-body connection, and our workouts will leave you feeling energized and looking forward to your next class.

How often do you recommend coming to workout classes?

We recommend taking at least 2 to 4 classes per week for optimum results. However, because everyone is different, we encourage you to speak with a team member about your individual fitness goals so we can create a program that meets your specific needs. Our science-backed approach combines strength, cardio, stretching and mindfulness to deliver a well-balanced fitness program.

What is your membership cancellation policy?

All of our memberships are NO contract and can be cancelled anytime. Simply send us an email at least 48 hours before your bill date and we'll take care of it. No month-long waiting period or in-person forms to fill out... we think cancelling should be easy, even if you'll miss us dearly.

What do I wear?

Yoga attire or similar clothing is encouraged (leggings or capris and a comfortable, lightweight top). Stretchy clothing will ensure your comfort in a variety of postures. Grip socks are recommended for barre classes, but bare feet and tennis shoes are also allowed since we clean the floors daily.

Do you provide free refreshments there?

We have filtered water available to our members. Other snacks and drinks are available for purchase.

Do I need to be fit or have prior experience to join?

No! No matter what your current fitness level is, we have the fitness program that is right for you. Every workout is designed to help you succeed, improve fitness, and move you toward your goals. Our program is designed for universal scalability, making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience.

What payment methods do you accept?

We take all major credit cards, debit cards and cash. We do not accept personal checks.

How old or young do I have to be?

Our classes are designed for anyone 14 years of age and up. We meet you at your fitness level by offering modification and advancement options throughout class, to accommodate a variety of ages and abilities. If you're under 18 years of age, we require a parent or guardian to complete the initial paperwork before your workout.

What should I bring?

A water bottle, a sweat towel, grip socks (if you have them) and your workout "game face". We also have a filtered water station and bottled water available for purchase. We'll provide the rest! We have cubbies and lockers available for your belongings.

What kind of exercises can I Expect during a Workout?

We start class with a warm up involving functional movement and exercises like squats, lunges, standing core, plies, etc. We always move the body in all planes of motion, which enhances mobility and prevents injury. In a barre class, you'll use a wide variety of props to strengthen the whole body and improve balance. While our focus will be on strength training, we incorporate low-impact cardio through large-range functional exercises that will help boost your mood, improve cardiovascular health and increase stamina. We wrap up class with a comprehensive stretch to promote muscle recovery and flexibility.
